Ocean view rooms. The Point Resort is a unique place, even on Nusa Lembongan. Our location is not near any of the active beach clubs or larger restaurants on the island… and that’s the way we like it! Our resort is designed to accommodate those travelers who value relaxation and want to enjoy the best view sheds anywhere on the island.
All of our rooms boast breathtaking, uninterrupted ocean views, allowing you to wake up to the sight of shimmering waves and drift off to the soothing sound of the sea. Each room is carefully designed to maximize the beauty of the surrounding coastline, ensuring a truly immersive and serene experience.

How do we get to Nusa Lembongan? Getting to Nusa Lembongan is not difficult, and you do have a few options:
A.    Rocky Fast Cruise:

The easiest way is to arrange pick-up and drop-off through Rocky Fast Cruise. They will pick you up at the airport or your accommodation in Bali and take you to the port in Sanur. They will then ferry you to Nusa Lembongan and drive you to The Point upon arrival. They are also the only ferry service that has a dock on Nusa Lembongan, so you do not have to get into the water when debarking the ferry. Upon your departure, they will repeat all steps, and drop you off in Bali at the airport or another location of your choosing. They are a little more expensive but are the easiest way to travel.

B.    Other Ferry Services:
You can arrange your own transportation from the airport to the port at Sanur using either taxis or Grab cars (similar to Uber or Lyft). You can book ahead of time (recommended during the busy season) or once at the port, there are many options for ferries (including Rocky) that you can book through. TANIS will drop you off at Dream Beach which is the closest drop-off location to The Point. However, you will have to enter the water to debark the boat. Our on-site manager can help arrange transportation to take you to The Point. This option saves you a little money and time (the ferry ride and drive to The Point are a combined 25-30 min less) but requires much more personal planning. Plus, the port at Sanur is extremely busy and can be confusing to navigate.

There are also smaller boats available. Kai Koa is a new ‘Very Fast Boat’ that now makes the Bali – Lembongan run. They do not include land transfers and exiting the boat on Lembongan is done at Jungut Batu Beach.

How do I get around on the island. There are only 2 forms of transportation on the island: small "taxi" vehicles and motorbikes. Most of the cars will charge you anywhere from 100,000-150,000 IDR per trip. If going to another resort for a meal, they will sometimes provide transport for free. Same with most of the excursion and tour companies. If you want to rent a motorbike the cost is anywhere from 80,000-100,000 IDR per day. If you are comfortable on motorbikes, this is an amazing way to explore the island, and you can also cross the bridge to Nusa Ceningan. However, the roads on the island are extremely narrow, and many of them are in disrepair, so you must be comfortable and confident on a motorbike to remain safe. Our onsite manager can help you with bike rentals and/or book cars to get around the island.

Can you help us book tours? Are there any you would recommend? Nusa Lembongan has several great tour operators that will take you snorkeling and diving. One of the biggest draws on the island is the chance to snorkel with Manta Rays. All of the major tour companies can take you to different fun locations to explore. We don’t play favorites with our recommendations as they are all very good at what they do. Our onsite manager can help you decide what activities you would like to do and help arrange your tours with local operators. There is no fee for our services.

What should I bring. Everyone is different in their travel preparations. However, the following list will detail a few items that may make your stay more enjoyable:
•    Bug Spray/Long Pants & Shirt – The island does have its fair share of mosquitos. A thin long sleeved shirt and pants to wear in the evenings combined with some bug spray will help keep the bites you receive to a minimum.
•    Sunscreen/Hat – Outside of the rainy season, the island is almost always sunny and hot. Proper protection from the sun is always recommended.
•    Rain Jacket/Poncho – There are often quick rainstorms in the afternoon. Having a poncho handy will help ensure you remain dry when they hit.
•    Flashlight/Headlamp (Optional) – While the resort is well-lit, if you plan on walking at night off the resort you should have a flashlight so that any motorists can see you on the dark roads and so you can see any divots in the road. Cell phones work too.
•    Snorkel Gear (Optional) – All the tour outfits will have gear, but you are always welcome to bring your own.
•    Earplugs (Optional) – The island is home to some pretty large geckos that have an interesting call at night. Some guests love the nature sounds. Other guests… not so much.

Do you have internet. The Point offers complimentary high‑speed Wi-Fi powered by a satellite provider for all guests and visitors. While the connection is generally reliable, there may be occasional brief interruptions due to the island’s remote location.

Do you have a spa. The Point Resort does not currently have any spa services. However, there is a spa less than 5 minutes away by scooter. We are more than happy to help arrange massages or other spa treatments there or at any other spa on the island.

Will I see dolphins or Manta Rays at The Point. Yes… usually! The viewshed from The Point Resort is unlike any other place on the island. From our raised position you can see dolphins on almost a daily basis, although we cannot guarantee it. Other ocean life that is visible from The Point includes sea turtles and manta rays (if you are very lucky).
